Great Southern Regional Championships 2026 – Albany Delivers Outstanding Results

Albany Netball Association is celebrating another outstanding representative carnival following a highly successful 2026 Great Southern Regional Championships, held in Albany from 17–19 July 2026. The annual Championships brought together representative teams from across the Great Southern region for a weekend of high-quality competition, sportsmanship and community spirit.

Competing across junior and senior divisions, Albany's representative teams showcased the depth of talent within our association, with an impressive six Division Championships.

These outstanding results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, managers, umpires and volunteers, who have invested countless hours throughout the representative season.

While six teams claimed Division titles, every Albany representative team contributed to a fantastic carnival. Their commitment, determination and support for one another created a wonderful atmosphere that highlighted the strength of our representative program.

Hosting the Championships was also a tremendous success, with players, officials, volunteers and visiting associations contributing to an enjoyable and well-run event. Albany once again demonstrated its ability to deliver a premier regional sporting event while showcasing the hospitality and community spirit for which our region is renowned.
